I am getting ready for the summer harp school. All I have to do is wait until Wednesday. Not a long wait :) Anyway - I realized I didn't write too much on this news page, so I thought I'll bring you up to date. The contest finished, won by Kaja Kasprowicz and her song lyrics inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's "The Journey to unknown Kadath" . We haven't decided yet on the date of the concert, but probably in autumn I will visit Warsaw. Now my thoughts are wandering around the upcoming Scoil na gClairseach. I'm happy I'll be able to see all the wonderful people again, and have the honor of learning fromthe best. Ann Heymann, Siobhan Armstrong, Andrew Lawrence King this year joined by Barnaby Brown who will help us look into the Scottish pipe tradition and learn some things about Ceòl Mór - the Great Music of the Scottish Highlands. I am looking forward to that. See you in Ireland! |
